Form
Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in PBS, pH 7.4. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in PBS, pH 7.4, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex.

Descripción

Acid phosphatases (ACP) are a group of enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of phosphate ester bonds under acidic conditions, resulting in the release of inorganic phosphate from organic molecules. These enzymes are characterized by their ability to function optimally at low pH levels. There are multiple forms of acid phosphatase, often denoted as ACP1, ACP2, ACP3, ACP4, and ACP5. Each isoform may have distinct tissue distribution, substrate specificity, and physiological roles. ACP1. It is found in various tissues and body fluids, including red blood cells, bone, prostate gland, and semen. It is a biomarker for poor prognosis in prostate cancer has been linked to bad clinical prognosis. ACP2 (Lysosomal Acid Phosphatase) is primarily found in lysosomes across various tissues and participates in the degradation of macromolecules within lysosomes.
