Description
D-Xylose Assay Kit can be used to detect D-Xylose in serum, plasma and urine using a spectrophotometer. D-xylose can produce furfural by dehydration in strong acidic solution. The generated furfural reacts with Phloroglucinol to form pink compounds. The content of D-xylose can be calculated by measuring the absorbance at 554 nm.
