Description
Cell Division Assay Kit is an assay kit designed for the determination of cell proliferation using a Flow Cytometer or Fluorescence microsope. A non-fluorescent membrane-permeable fluorescein (CFDA SE) is catalysed by cytosolic esterase to produce a membrane-impermeable green fluorescent dye, CFSE. During cell division, CFSE is evenly distributed between daughter cells, with the fluorescence intensity decreasing by half each generation.
