Receptor for neurturin. Mediates the NRTN-induced autophosphorylation and activation of the RET receptor. Also able to mediate GDNF signaling through the RET tyrosine kinase receptor. Isoform 2: Participates to NRTN-induced 'Ser-727' phosphorylation of STAT3.
