Descripción
ANP32D is a member of the ANP32 family of nuclear phosphoproteins involved in chromatin remodeling, transcriptional regulation, and cell survival pathways. ANP32D interacts with histone-modifying enzymes such as histone deacetylases (HDACs), regulating gene expression through epigenetic modifications. It is thought to play a role in modulating apoptosis and controlling cellular responses to stress signals. While its function is not as extensively characterized as other ANP32 members, ANP32D has been linked to tumor suppression mechanisms, where its altered expression may influence cell proliferation and genomic stability. Emerging evidence suggests that ANP32D’s dysregulation contributes to cancer progression by impairing proper transcriptional control and apoptotic signaling, highlighting its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis.
