We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
aarF domain-containing kinase 5 (ADCK5) is another member of the ADCK family, though its specific biological function is less well-characterized compared to other family members such as ADCK3 and ADCK4. Like its counterparts, ADCK5 is believed to be involved in mitochondrial processes, potentially regulating CoQ biosynthesis or other mitochondrial pathways. It is expressed in various tissues and may play a role in cellular energy homeostasis, oxidative stress regulation, and lipid metabolism. Dysregulation of ADCK5 may contribute to mitochondrial dysfunction, though its precise physiological and pathological roles require further investigation. Emerging studies aim to explore ADCK5’s involvement in energy metabolism and its potential links to metabolic and mitochondrial-related disorders.
